FBI Betting: Deconstructing the weekend’s best 2.5 goal + bets

Well done to those who won our  four fold 10/1 wager on  2.5 goals last week with Tranmere, Torquay, Rotherham and Chesterfield providing money in the bank with 20 minutes still to play. To check out more cracking prices on this weekend’s games hop over to our betting partner Paddy Power

This season the Prem and Championship have been the most fertile in the 2.5 gls market with both league’s matches hitting 2.5 goals 58% of the time. League 2 is next best on 54% with League 1 the most scarce at 47%. This week’s tips are based on percentage likelihood from fixtures thus far:

4 Games 2.5 goals +

West Ham v Southampton
Burnley v Blackpool
Palace v Millwall
Plymouth v Rochdale

Best of the rest – Home & Abroad….

In the Prem, there have been over 2.5 goals scored in Fulham’s last 7 games in the Premier League and in Manchester United’s last 6 games.  Over in La Liga there have been over 2.5 goals scored in 14 of Rayo Vallecano’s last 15 away games . In the Bundesliga there have been over 2.5 goals scored in 10 of Werder Bremen’s last 12 games whilst Benfica’s last 7 games in Liga Sagres have featured 2.5 goals plus. Finally, there have been over 2.5 goals scored in Bastia’s last 8 games in Ligue 1.

In the Both teams to score (Btts) market the below looks decent based on goals scored and lack of clean sheets;

Exeter v Chesterfield
Yeovil v Bury
Barnet v Northampton
Bolton v Bristol City
